Just another example of how Dean's campaign is truly grassroots.

My parents are the hosts of their local meet-up and my Dad came up with this whistle-stop tour idea as an effort to reach out to the Latino community in Ca, San Diego and L.A. being major hubs of the Latino community. That combined with the fact that Truman, famous for his whistle-stop tours, is Dean's favorite president seemed a perfect campaign event. Dad suggested this to the Dean H.Q.'s and they agreed that it was a great idea and made it happen. Its true when they say the grassroots never sleep.
