CNBC Debates Live at 4 P.M. Eastern Today
"Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark, who jumped into the presidential race just a week ago, joins the nine other Democratic candidates in New York on Thursday for a debate on economic issues.

The two-hour debate begins at 4 p.m. ET and can be seen live on CNBC. It will be repeated on MSNBC at 9 p.m. ET.

NBC News' Brian Williams, anchor and managing editor of CNBC's, "The News with Brian Williams," will moderate the debate. Also pitching questions to the candidates will be CNBC’s Ron Insana, co-anchor of “Business Center,” Gloria Borger, co-host of CNBC’s “Capital Report,” and Gerald Seib, Washington bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal."

1. Today we are going to find out who NOT to vote for in the primaries!!
Watch the questions!! The one who gets the softball questions will be the business lobbyists' favorite.

Anyone want to take a guess as to who this will be?

3. confused
I'm not much of a tv watcher. What's the difference between msnbc and cnbc? I know I can sometimes get nbc in, if it's not too cloudy. Will I finally be able to watch this debate (I don't have cable, so I couldn't see the ones on PBS).

thanks

7. CNBC is business and stock market angled...
most of the shows deal with money, money markets, or trade.

Also I think less people get CNBC than MSNBC or (FOXlite)

10. Looks like you are out of luck!
CNBC to broadcast them live; MSNBC to repeat them later; nothing on NBC scheduled.

Please look for web possibilities ASAP!

14. Well, isn't it nice to
know what the corporate media thinks of those w/o cable tv (let alone computers); here's a reply to an inquiry of mine to my local NBC affiliate:

"My real name:

I am not aware of any non-cable network carrying the Democratic Presidential
Primary Debate.

Madeline Palaszewski
KSBY-TV"

Time to e-mail the old congresspeople again!!! Please do the same...

thx

5. Pop-up window on Kerry's site
You all really should right now go to www.johnkerry.com and look at the pop-up window on Kerry's website.

Or look at an email that Kerry wrote at https://contribute.johnkerry.com/?team=0032

It's one of the more extraordinary things I've seen.

9. Holy shit
That is astounding. I want to see the press pick up on this. And someone should start a thread here. This really enrages me.

11. I saw that earlier today...
I was so busy here at work I didn't get a chance to post anything here about it.

It's pretty damn disgusting, the popup is. Who the hell is behind it?
