Kerry blasts Bush policies |
|
Kerry began a steady stream of anti-Bush sentiments by asking members of the excited crowd of New Englanders what they thought of the Florida Marlins recent World Series victory over the New York Yankees.
"Isn’t it nice after what happened in 2000 to have a legitimate victory out of Florida?" he joked.
Kerry addressed his plans to keep U.S. companies from leaving the country to avoid U.S. taxes, referencing companies such as Tyco International Inc. which moved its headquarters from Exeter to Bermuda eight years ago.

"We have to succeed because it is critical for the war on terror and the long-term implications for us," he said. "And it would be disastrous if we did not succeed.
"The degree of which this is important underscores the degree in which this president has screwed it up," Kerry continued.
Kerry said that Bush has broken every promise he has made to Americans and has put the country in a difficult situation by the loss of lives, money, good reputation in the Middle East and influence in the world since the war began.
Kerry also said that every American deserves the kind of health care that the politicians in Washington, D.C. get , and he will fight to make sure every family gets it. http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/rock/10312003/news/58314.htm
