LOL! | NY: Abe Hirschfeld to run against Schumer
He's fresh from serving a prison stint in a murder-for-hire plot against a former business partner (he still denies the charges) and he's ready to run for office yet again. Yup, wealthy parking garage developer and Holocaust survivor Abe Hirschfeld announced this week that he will run next year against US Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) as a GOP challenger. The colorful Hirschfeld has been running gadfly races for the Senate, Congress and other posts on and off since the early 1970s.
