Her introduction of her husband when he "announced" his campaign was a tour de force. Don't you want to have dinner, a movie, a glass of wine (or 2) with her? She just seems so smart and funny and fun to hang out with. What a contrast to Laura...

I was there, and you're right, she was good. The line I remember most was something to the effect of how she and John Edwards met when they were young... "and unfortunately, he still looks like it!"

A couple of years ago, Elizabeth Edwards told the Washington Post that she would fully support her husband if he decided to run for President: "I never want him to have another unhappy moment as long as he lives," she said. "And if there's anything that he wants, I want it for him."

With her by his side and in his corner, how can he lose?
