Nordstrom drops Hannity ad--We did it DU!

Just got this letter from Nordstrom:

Dear Mr. Smith,

First of all, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us at Nordstrom. We are sensitive to the fact that our customers have different views on politics and the current state of our country. Therefore, we do not advertise on any political programs on either side, or support projects of a political nature. Thanks to your email and others, this was brought to our attention, and we've corrected the situation.

On a personal note, I too share your concerns about our current administration and will also be voting Kerry/Edwards in November. I respect your views and your willingness to share them. I do hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again someday in the future.

that they would be so responsive (and responsible in the end).

I did the same when I heard him on a posturepedic mattress ad.

When I heard Hannity endorse the product, I called and canceled an order I made two days earlier. I also told them why.

10. I'd suggest you delete that note

It's good news, and ought to be known. But I don't think you ought to leave that note up there, especially the personal part. Even though you deleted the name, it still is something that probably shouldn't be posted publicly, for the sake of the person who wrote it.
