Industry insiders (I know everybody) have let slip to me that Mike Malloy will debut a new show on Air America Radio beginning August 2nd. His daily show will air Monday through Friday 10PM to 1 AM Eastern Time.

All of these prices for listening to talk radio on the Internet are insane! One set of programs was being offered for over $300 a month, and I'm already struggling with the cost of just using the Internet. Isn't there a way for us to hear AirAmerica without paying more?

And, I believe all of the shows on Sirius Left are streamed in one way or another.

A few, including Thom Hartman, Ed Schultz and Alan Colmes are produced outside Sirius, and stream seperately.

The Young Turks archive their shows on their own site.

It's free, it uses the Windows media player, and it requires no additional software to slow my computer down. Hopefully south Florida will include Mike Malloy in their list of programs.

they announced the other night that starting with the convention Marty Kaplan moves to the weekend. majority report moves to 7pm. after convention majority report at 7pm and then mike 10-1!

But I have to say that I think this makes much more sense. Marty Kaplan would be great on the weekend, maybe following Ring of Fire. I really like Majority Report. That show has been a godsend for me. I hardly watch TV at night anymore, unless there's a good baseball game on. I do work around the house and keep AAR on the radio. Now with Mike Malloy on from 10 to 1am it's gonna be even better. My only question is that here in NYC on WLIB the AAR folks have the station until midnight at which time there's a holdover from the old days of WLIB on from Midnight until 5 or 6am or something. Will Malloy be on WLIB until 1am? I sure as hell hope so :)

I had a long conversation with them last summer before they sold their interest to AAR, and they both said that Malloy had been the first person they'd signed on. Obviously the original AAR management didn't agree, but as soon as Shelly and Anita got the mess sorted out, it looks like Mike's gonna be back!
