Byron Pitts/John Roberts of CBS Evening news make my blood boil.
Every time this Byron Pitts does a Kerry report, he always injects negativity and pessimism. Just tonight he ends his Kerry report on a pessimistic note, some shit about (paraphrase) "Kerry has the smarts, but if he continues to stay (boring) and unknown, he will have big problems in November."

F You, Pitts!

As for Roberts, he carries Bush's water in his reports. Talks about Bush at the Urban League, and Roberts in an optimistic fashion says "All Bush needs to win this election is peel off a small portion of the African American vote."

So with CBS News, it's go negative on Kerry, and positive on Bush.

I've had enough.

1. Calm down.
CBS is the fair and balanced more often than not, and the closest thing to a "liberal media".

2. And do you think he CAN peel off that vote? Even a tiny portion?
He's asking them to do a protest vote. Go Green or Nader. Think about it. He knows he doesn't have them. He's hoping to remind them that the Democrats ain't so hot either and peel off protest votes.

He won't gain, but Kerry will lose.

Talk about bankrupt strategy following bankrupt policies.

6. Why in the hell....
would any sane african american vote for Bush? What has Bush done in almost 4 years that would make an african american go out and vote Bush in November?

3. Well, duh, the point of the convention
is to introduce Kerry to voters who don't know him yet.

4. it's also the snide facial expressions
when Roberts went optimistic on Bush, just before Dan came back on, Roberts flashed a promising grin.

Meantime Byron had a Nixonian scowl when he was talking about Kerry.

I've seen this trick in the past, lots of reporters do it. The way they inflect their voice or raise an eyebrow.

Maybe I just expect all reporters to act like Paul Begala or something.
