6. I voted PBS
which actually more resembled traditional network coverage of the past even with the tendency to overspeak and interpret what one just heard.

But the best was at the Dem site itself since there was nothing to gloss over and little was added to dress up what was in itself very impressive
speechmaking and message. it was what it was and therefore the site could do the best honest job.

Paid journalists could never handle that situation even though admittedly that is exactly how spoonfed they act vis a vis the oppressive WH. They were in effect left with nothing to do but be themselves, which was too often a sorry sight in the midst of splendor. As a secondary benefit of merely attending a self explanatory grand event they looked even more disgruntled at not being showpieces, pampered, or privileged outlets of off floor opinion that had anything better than the program. Discomfort, acting like Bush tools or mere crankiness separated them from the "unity"
that could have been passed with more enthusiasm by better representatives of the "people's press".

We still have to work with these schmoes as much as they are literally party poopers. The real problem we are reacting to here goes deeper than these hyped up personalities and forum gatekeepers. The solution is still grass roots, for those of you who entertained the vain hope that once TV or the movie F9/11 rallied the nation there would be nothing to do, no shoe leather to stock up or calendar spots to reserve.

As with F9/11 in fact, it dawns upon me that the news HAS given us the field to plow ourselves. They abandoned the easy victory to us and can take no credit. It will be the roots of America to win the day and that will be an additional victory, and progress, for America.
