"Local Texas newspaper doesn't back Bush

The weekly newspaper in Crawford, Texas near President Bush's ranch, endorsed Sen. John Kerry. The Lone Star Iconoclast criticized Bush's handling of the Iraq war, fiscal policies and proposals on Social Security and Medicare. The newspaper backed Bush four years ago. White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Bush would have the backing of voters in Crawford and across Texas."
