Tweety's mea culpa on Imus right now! |
|
"I was snookered into believing Cheney."
Duh.

2. Tweety thought Cheney's delivery was smooth and believable... |
|
until the producer in his ear starting telling him how well JE was doing in the polls.
He's still saying that Cheney "looks like a reasonable man."

Does everyone gnash their teeth and beat their breast, rending their garments asunder, over Tweety? The man is clearly laboring under some mental insufficiency. His vacillations are indicative of real issues, issues played out nightly on a national electronic stage. Something is really wrong with the guy, people!
Cut him loose. He ain't gonna be a player forever. Really.

Someone here at DU once said that Tweety has no core values. I agree totally. The man is like a desert storm--he constantly shifts position and panders to every side to keep up his ratings and his multimillion-dollar salary.

8. Uh, just maybe, Tweety, you should try doing what a journalist would do... |
|
... and reserve judgment until a political candidate's statements could be fact-checked.
Oh, but wait... Journalism died a painful death in this country more than a decade ago. Oopsy!
But I'm glad to see the "never my fault" spirit is spreading. "I was snookered." "Someone misled me." "Someone else is to blame."
Idiot.

9. I did not hear that on Imus unfortunately. Tweety likes the fence |
|
he panders to the buck like the rest. I turn his show on to see what side of the fence he is playing at that particular time. It's a toss up from one sentence to the next with him.
