the media is now getting a bit scared of their own coverage of Bush falling over his feet last week, so they're rushing to be "objective," to balance out the post-presidential debate commentary with "it was pretty much a draw" style judgments on Edwards/Cheney.
Bush is frightened now. The media is frightened of Bush frightened.

putting out, and the likelihood is that when things fall out of line, they will end with a massive slam.
The whole lying scam from Cheney at the debate could only work if the media had agreed to go along, and backed out. Otherwise, why would Cheney/Rove be that stupid?
