Is this the end of the line for Bill O'Reilly?

Having just read the text of the lawsuit against Mr. O'Reilly, and knowing that most of his fan base detest sexual perversion more than they detest any other "sin", I am wondering if this is the end of O'Reilly's career?

If not...

How might we help finish it off?

If not I'd say he'll do what every other republican does and just deny it and his slavishly devoted "no-spin zone" denizens will delude themselves into thinking he's still just a straight shooting guy looking out for them.

but I just have one question for the woman... (and I hope this doesn't sound like "she must have done something to deserve it" BUT...) why did she KEEP GOING TO DINNER with him!?

I sympathetic to sexual harassment in the work place, or company sponsored events, but informal "meetings" at dinner? I dunno... I guess I'm not well versed in corporate behavior...

15. Why did she go to dinner with him?

She's on assignment with him, he's her boss, he wanted to discuss business at dinner and he's her boss. This is what sexual harrassment is about..someone else making one's environment intolerable while one is trying to do their job. When the one doing the harrassing has the power, it is even more problematic, and ergo, your question.

Here is another question some often ask..."Why didn't she quit if it was so bad." Yes, I heard this from Pat Buchannen on Scarborough tonite. Ridiculous!! No, the point of the law is to make the workplace safe for the harrassed and no one is under any obligation to quit because they are being harrassed! Ridiculous. Typical of some to minimize the affect of sexual harrassment (Buchannen) and put the onus on the harrassed (Buchannen).

I hope O'Reilly and Fox pay for this. btw, Bill has not denied the charges :)

11. Absurdly, O'Reilly Could Become Bigger

Sad but true, he now goes from political asshole to Court TV star. He'll become the daily fodder on "E" and Extra and all the tabloid shows, his mug will show up on every Supermarket tabloid...it'll be all Vibrators, love nests, he said/she said. C'mon, you've seen this frenzy before.

It may chill for a bit...or fade if something's settled out (O'Reilly's a fool if he doesn't...even if he's not wronged...but then he's a fool), and then come back to life when the trial begins and when a verdict is reached.

If O'Reilly wins, he's still slimed with all the other side brings out in court, and who knows what could happen in a discovery investigation. This is the same shit that Clinton walked into with Paula Jones. We may learn of Jane Does and maybe even a Johnny! ROFLMAO.

Either way, his spin stops here, his downward spiral begins...slowly and delightfully.

it has almost convinced me of the power of prayer. Since last fall I've had as a screen saver Larry Flynt's "National Day of Prayer for the Death of Bill O'Reilly" jpg.

Every day for over a year I have sat in front of the computer and meditated on it for a few minutes.

This type of "death" is just too sweet.

It reads:

"Fox News Channel blowhard Bill O'Reilly would like America to believe he's a voice for the populace, but he's nothing more than a right-wing shill who tries to destroy the careers of those he disagrees with.
