Start a "buy up the media licenses campaign"

If we can collect millions upon millions of dollars to put people in office then we can also do this to buy up media licenses?

If we know of groups that are doing this then we need to promote them.
Obviously Air America Radio is one of them. But.. We need to buy up local stations. Then go for the big guns.

Richard Mellon Scaife uses his (unearned) family fortune to routinely buy up media outlets - newspapers, TV, radio, whatever - to further his ambition of stifling dissent and destroying democracy.

George Soros has poured millions of dollars into defeating the Chimperor. I for one believe his money would be far better spent countering RW media hegemony. I've sent email to his organization asking him to do just that, and I hope everybody else will too.
