Here's a clip from one of the local "news" stations in Seattle.

SEATTLE -- With the election three weeks away, indications point to a huge turnout.

That's because local county offices are swamped with huge numbers of voters registering for the first time in Washington state.

All around the Puget Sound, there is a huge surge of new voters, raising the question: Who will they vote for?

My questions (just off the top of my head): Who do you think, Miss Talking Head? Just how much do they pay you to be this stupid? Even though the answer is obvious (there are, like, three Republicans in the whole city!), did someone at your crappy ass station think about, for even a second, researching that little asinine question? Hmmmm, no? I didn't think so.

Hell, screw the liberal media, I just want an intelligent one!

2. Then
perhaps we need to send all of them lots of alcohol because this is just too much. Not this specifically, just the media overall. They are complicent, yet incompetent, fluffy yet dangerous, inane yet, somehow, listened to be Joe Q Public. I don't get it and I don't like it!

3. Actually, no . The media once did at least some "reporting"
Now they're "embedded" and offer chat and vapid generalities.

Hey, it sells. You can't knock what sells.

4. They used to be edgy and hungry, but now that they are celebs pulling
down million dollar salaries, they ain't so hungry or edgy.

5. Journalism had a once proud tradition
now subervient to conservative media corporations, they have ceased thinking.
My favorite local news ploy is something like this:
voice over: "Something in your diet that may kill you! Tune in at newswatch xxx tonite!"
