"Stolen Honor" NOT AIRED last night in Baltimore. What gives? |
|
The Sinclair Puke Piece was on our cable schedule (WB 9PM) for last night, but an old Charmed rerun was aired instead.
Hm.
Maybe that copyright infringement law suit did the trick.
Baltimore, by the way, is the home of Sinclair's HQ and the notorious Smith brothers.

3. It was on my Yahoo TV schedule. |
|
I kept flipping over (from CSI) to check, but it never aired.
I wish now that I had captured the screen!

it showed up on my excite.com tv schedule AND the on-screen one generated by the local cable company. Last night they showed an episode of "Charmed" instead. The pseduo-documentary "POW Story" is on tonight locally (Channel 62 KSMO) in Kansas City from 7 to 8.
In an aside, we've been outside the local station protesting since Wednesday evening. We go in the afternoon starting at 4:30. If you are in the area please join us.

4. I think some of the affiliates chose not to show it at all. |
|
Sorry -- can't remember where I read it, but I think someone posted something on here that some of the stations chose not to run it.
What was weird was, our Sinclair station is Fox (talk about a marriage made in hell), and showed the NLCS game last night, while a non-Sinclair Fox station down in Cincinnati ran a bunch of infomercials instead of the St. Louis-Houston game. We still can't figure that one out.
It may have to do with the lawsuit done by the guy who did 'Going Upriver' -- they used some of his photos without getting his permission, and he filed an injunction. Wonder if that's it?
