Arnold--60 minutes
That face-lifted bastard just said that he got "tired of doing the same thing" referring to his leaving a movie career for politics.

Screw him. He doesn't have a clue what real people, like us, have to do everyday to survive.

What a pompous ass!

1. Did they ask him
about all the lies he told during his RNC speech?

2. I don't mind him much...
He's a pro-choice, pro-environment Republican. I wouldn't vote for him, but I'll never have to because I don't live in California and he's got about zero chance of getting out of a Republican primary.

3. DID THEY ASK HIM ABOUT THIS PHOTO?
OR HIS LIBEL SUIT FROM ANN RICHARDSON IN ENGLAND, THAT IS NOW GOING FORWARD?

Hey Ohio! Like Bill O'Reilly, Bush is supported by a sexual harasser, the Gropenator.  Pictures don't lie! (this is from the feed of the Brit TV show the Gropenator was on).

Ann Richardson, the person who had to interview Ahnold before he went on the show, was herself grabbed and he squeezed her breast.  She is now suing him and his manager for libel under the generous libel laws of England for saying that she asked for him to fondle her!

The lady being groped on the butt and thigh by the Gropenator is ANOTHER woman, Denise Van Outen, the actual host of the show.  She is not suing, but Richardson was cleared yesterday by the courts to sue the Governor of Kalifornia.

Oversexed Arnold Schwarzenegger Gets A handful Of British Talk Hosts!

During his promotional visit to Britain this week Arnold Schwarzenegger groped Denise Van Outen on the Big Breakfast and behaved in a similarly oversexed and over here fashion with a clearly panicked Melanie Sykes on ITV's Celebrity.

-SNIP-

Big Screen presenter Anna Richardson also claims that Arnold actually groped her breast during an interview for the show. She went to shake his hand, he pulled her on to his knee and said: "I want to know if your breasts are real." Arnold is a smoothie isn't he?

Anna says: "I told him they are an F-cup."

"Before I knew what was happening he circled my nipple with his finger and gave it a squeeze." He then said of her triple-D breasts: "Yeah, they are real," Richardson recalled.

-SNIP-

Thank God for film. Look at the expression on his face. Look at her face. What you are looking at ladies and gentlemen is what Marty Singer likes to call an outrageous fabrication.

4. My letter to Morley Safer about Arnold interview
Morley Safer

Morley,

Your profile of Arnold Schwarzenegger on your October 31 show would have been appropriate when he was merely a celebrity, but it was not now that he is a public servant. There were several issues you should have brought up with him as an elected official, rather than following his PR script.

The most obvious and what to you as a journalist should be most egregious, is how rarely he talks to real journalists or has open press conferences. Like George W. Bush, he limits his access to friendly talk radio, right wing news organs, and fluffy morning shows that won’t ask the hard questions necessary to keep him accountable to the people of California.

Some of those questions would be about his priorities, which you failed to ask about and should be a standard question for all politicians: which interests are “special” and which are legitimate? Are the kids who want to transfer to a four year college but can’t because his budget priorities restrict the space available a special interest? Are the wealthy he wants to avoid taxing a more legitimate interest? As LA Times columnist Steve Lopez noted, a 2-3% increase on the top 1% of taxpayers would close our deficit, and someone who falls into that category like Arnold would not have to pull his kids out of private school, sell one of his houses, or his Hummer. By contrast, community college students tuition has doubled in the last couple of years, and every dollar of increase means another one percent of the poorest students can no longer afford college.

The most important question you could have asked him has to do with how he got into office. As Greg Palast of the BBC noticed, Arnold met with Ken Lay at the peak of the energy crisis that was engineered to bilk billions out of the state which led to the very deficit that was used to flog Gray Davis in the recall effort. Far from trying to recover our money from them, upwards of $9 billion, he plans to further deregulate the electricity market, leaving us vulnerable to another fleecing, and of course he took campaign contributions from them after he was elected.

Arnold has left Hollywood for politics, and it gives him an unfair advantage if you continue to treat him like a matinee idol. If you start treating him like any other elected official, the star dust might wear off, and people might see him for what he’s doing for us (or to us) as governor.

I used to admire you guys a lot for serious reporting you did, but you seem to be drifting in the direction of Primetime and Dateline, newsless piffle that doesn’t cover the serious issues we need to know about to be informed citizens.

Please do your job.

Democracy depends on it.

7. Thanks for that great letter
Morley Safer's behavior in that piece was inexcusable. He acted like he had a crush on Schwarzenegger, going back to the old footage of Arnold as a weightlifter.

9. Also when he was talking about his movie career
He also worked into the conversation that he had "reached the top" or something like that...

I forget... how many Academy Awards has he won?
