I've been seeing a lot of promotions for this, and it actually sounds interesting, but so far I haven't seen any actual embeds yet.
The ONE exception is a report from the embed in the campaign of Wesley Clark, of all people, and it was positively lame. The woman was standing all by herself in Little Rock after everyone had left, the day of Clark's announcement. The idea was that the reporters are supposed to be inside the campaign and getting a close-up candid look at the candidate, but this woman had nothing.
She could have been anyone, in fact she struck me as looking like a local TV type reporter that might do fluff pieces.
So is this campaign embed thing going to be a total bust, or what's going on?
