Tucker belittles Dean; Carville sits silent |
|
Not surprisingly, only moments after Carville rambled on & on about the Clintons he sat silent as Tucker belittled Howard Dean and, some could say, the entire Democratic Party.
Carville spoke glowing of the Clinton library. Then it was Tucker's turn to talk. He spoke about the head of the DNC, talked about Dean, played The Scream and said he represents the Democratic Party. Carville leaned back and offered nary a rebuttable.
First, I believe Dean would be good for the DNC as a fundraiser and as a spokesman. I don't know how many times I wish Terry McAuliffe had said "something," anything. Yes, Dean speaks from the hip and when he does says things that are honest and need to be said.
Secondly, yes, if Tucker was comparing the Dean to the Democratic Party then he was right on. The Dean Scream, as portrayed by the MSM, is exactly the way the Party has been treated. The Democratic Party's views have been distorted, taken out of context, overblown and mercilessly ridiculed. Fortunately for Dean, he's proven he has a thick skin, isn't afraid to be outspoken and, quite frankly, speaks for a lot of Dems in the heartland whose voices are often ignored.
Additional thought about Dean over Vilasack. The media has already worked Dean over. So has the RNC. Vilasack is tanamount to "fresh meat." Let's go with someone who has been vetted.
Lastly, when oh when will Carville stick up for a Democrat whose last name isn't Clinton?

1. Carville is a Clinton loyalist |
|
and they pushed Terry on the power. They also support Simon Rothenberg for DNC Chair--now I don't know if he would be a good or a bad choice or not, but the Clinton's have their agenda.

I do know I sent Bill e-mails telling him to hang in there during the impeachment. I was one who adored Clinton and felt there was a vast right wing conspiracy against them. In some ways it wasn't until the impeachment that I began to figure out how much in control the VRW really was and that the MSM was definitely in bed with them. But I digress.
I don't know anything about Simon Rothenberg either. I'm just a little concerned about control of the Democratic Party, which is supposed to be the people's party, being controlled by too few for too long.

2. It was common knowledge during the primaries, |
|
that Carville was at the forefront of the Stop Dean movement coming out of Washington.
I say him speak in January and all he could do was critize Dr. Dean and tell us how wrong he was for this country.
Get over yourself James. He's like the high school quarterback that can't accept that the winning season doesn't go on forever.

His wife comes from the BBC (Blame Bill Clinton) branch of the neo-cons. Her job has been to deflect criticism of the GOP by talking about blow jobs and Hillary. His job is to keep the Clintons in the spotlight.
