Anyone watch ABC 24 hour news channel |
|
I've pretty much stopped watching broadcast news but on occasion will turn in to this channel. I don't understand why it hasn't been publicized. From what I've seen it seems more news focused with less loud mouthed punditry than those other stations.
Was just wondering what others thought of it.
It's hard to find on your cable line-up. It's mixed into the HD channels for me--but it's not HD

1. I just found it on Comacst ... |

They put it in the middle of "dead air". Channels go up to 95 then jump to 201. This is on 194; I found it by accident going up on the remote.
Anyhoo, it is a nice change.

I'm actually enjoying what I'm seeing for the most part when I turn in. It is a nice change. They appear more balanced than those other channels.

4. If you get Hi Def it's often on your ABC channel's alt broadcast |

Here in Seattle the ABC channel is channel 4. They put the High Def broadcast on 4.1 and the broadcast ABC News Channel on 4.2 (on a high def signal but content is not high def) - very cool. It's like getting cable without the cable.
I find the ABC News Channel refreshing - they do all kinds of oddball things.
