How liberal is CBS really?
CBS Evening News segments on political topics broadcast between November 3, 2004, and February 17, 2005, featured 65 clips of Democratic officials or commentators representing progressive organizations and 83 clips of Republican officials or commentators representing conservative organizations. These figures do not include clips of President Bush, which were featured on 40 Evening News episodes.

6. Well, "facts" are liberal things.
Sometimes the corporate media actually stumbles across some of those annoyingly 'liberal' facts.

2. CBS and 60 minutes
have been know from time to time to put forth actual objective journalism. Therefore, they are part of the librul media.

3. add in the fact that the memos were a set up
remember the secretary saying that the CONTENT was accurate, but the documents themselves were faked?

why does Rather end his career with nary a whimper of protest? if CBS were "liberal", he'd have gone down swinging reporting on HOW they got FUCKED OVER, and WHO DID IT. but no, they just take their lumps.

i smell a Rove.

5. It absolutely smells like Rove
The white house knew the story was going to be broadcast and already had the smear campaign ready to go.

7. As Liberal as Their Corporate Overlords WANT Them to Be
and no more than that! This is the crux of the matter concerning the debate over 'liberal media': they're owned by mega-corporations. How do corporate executroids usually lean politically? Any questions? Editors and reporters are allowed very little wiggle-room in the stories they are allowed to cover, how they're slanted, and how often it's repeated.
