I posted about this yesterday re: the Apple judgment, found in Apple's favor, that says that bloggers have no reporter rights to keep sources confidential. This, the FishbowlIDC, and Guckert are part and parcel of a larger argument, which is: What, in the age of the internet, constitutes journalism?
