what the hell happened to The Connection -- WBUR????

that was my favorite show! is this part of the republican takeover of public broadcasting??!!

i'm freaking out. this is terrible. i really HOPE it's because the host went on to something better -- but it just doesn't feel like that. anyone know?

1. IIRC, they canceled "The Connection" because it was 'tired.'

I got a membership call last week from WBUR. I told the young lady that I could not give them any more money while Ken Tomlinson was in charge of CPB. (Had to spell the name for her.)

I'm not sure if that was the correct thing to do, but I was pretty pissed at the time. (I'm only mildly pissed at them right now.)

2. tired? it's the most innovative show they have -- right up there with

studio 360!!! he was on the ground in IRAQ for crying out loud. it's an amazing show. i'm all pissed about this. i hate this On Point they have on now. first tavis smiley, now this. next it will be terry gross and ira glass.

he was hired with citizenship hanging in the balence. that is cold -- freaking cold.
