2. Eh...

While I appreciate Randi holding them accountable with facts, I just wish she'd have let him get a word in. It sounded too much like she wasn't giving him any chance to respond and that always looks bad.

Not that she wasn't right, but I wasn't able to get a "read" on the guy, whether he was a Freeper or where the guy was coming from.

4. Actually

even if you pretty much agree she doesn't let you get a word in edgewise. She kind of gets on my nerves and I gave up listening to her. I like Mike Malloy and even when a flying monkey gets the nerve to call he gives them a chance - albeit briefly - to make a point. I like Sam and Janeane. Janeane just lets it rip and I love it.

How do you keep Ann Coulter off the air for hours?

Have her alphabetize a bag of M & M's.

5. I called her to take exception once

I told her that it was wrong to out Cheney's private medical information. (Someone on the show had just done that.) She gave me an argument that they do that kind of crap all the time. I finally told her, "Yeah, but Randi, we're better than they are." She made a few jokes and then agreed with me. We then had a lovely conversation about her testimony before Conyers.

The guy was a freep. He started in with the standard, "Why do you guys hate the President so much?" She gave him an excellent answer, "Because he's ruining my country." She then gave numerous examples of why he's ruining the country.

Personally, I have a harder time with Springer trying to be rational with these irrational morons, but I imagine he's making a few points by doing so, and so I say let him do it.
