NECN (a joint venture of ABC and NYT?) - New England Cable Network - this morning ran a promo for a news report airing at 9PM tonight.

"so n so" reporting today at 9, embedded with the National Guard..."

:wtf:

DU needs to remind NECN that although the corporate media went along with the pentagon and agreed to whore for it duing the invasion of Iraq, there is no requirment for domestic reporters to be embedded with the National Guard reporting from the Gulf Coast.

This is misleading and reckless journalism.

The sexy teaser is all hype. There is no requirement for domestic reporters to go through the same embedding process. They may be traveling with the Guard, but they certainly are not embedded.
