Poster Design for the Candidates.
"In an effort to raise the bar, the (NYTimes) magazine asked top graphic designers to draw the name of a Democratic presidential candidate from a hat and take a stab at creating a memorable poster and button. As always, you, the voter, are the ultimate judge. Slide Show"

2. CMB's was nice; maybe her image larger; Sharpton's was concise

George Lois is the creator of many of Esquire's revolutionary magazine covers in the 1960's. He came up with the ''I Want My MTV'' campaign and the name Lean Cuisine. His previous campaign experience includes working for several senatorial campaigns, including Jacob Javits's in 1962 and Robert F. Kennedy's in 1964.
''Morally, I think Kucinich is incredible. He makes a point of saying forcefully that he does not believe the lies of the Bush administration. And his name presents possibilities. He has two i's in his name, which led me to think of the line, 'The eyes that see through the lies.' The subtext is, We have a blind president, and I'm running against a bunch of other candidates who didn't understand that they were being conned. This is a very tough political statement for this time. As for the button, I think just saying 'Kucinich means courage' adds another element to what he's about. His name's hard to say, but you can use that to your advantage when you say 'Kucinich' means something.''

the writing in red maybe change to yellow???

3. Kucinich poster
"the writing in red maybe change to yellow???"

It is hard to read the way it is - white would work better.

But overall - anyway - the type at the top and the type at the bottom looks like it is squishing his head together.

It seems the designer was trying to be cute about the ii's - I don't think it works.

4. CMB's is by far the best.
I also like the simplicity and message of Clark's, but it'd fit much better with another candidate.
