Tucker Carlson says again, "I'm not partisan!"
I saw Tucker Carlson 2 months ago in a joint-interview with Al Franken on "Tim Russert."

Tucker Carlson kept telling Al Franken: I'm better than you because you're partisan and I'm not.

I saw Tucker Carlson again today on "Crossfire."

Tucker Carlson similarly boasted: unlike most people, I'm not partisan!
I'm a conservative, but if I were to ever decide that the Iraq War was a mistake, I'd say so.
----
Tucker Carlson makes Bill O'Reilly look good by comparison.

At least Bill O'Reilly can point to his opposition to the death penalty and support of environmental regulations as justification for calling himself "independent," even if O'Reilly doesn't make those issues the focus of his show.

Tucker Carlson asked us to believe he's non-partisan because of a tiny possiblity that someday, long after the Iraq War is over, he may say the war was a mistake, though then again he probably won't.

There are many reasons to be opposed to O'Reilly, including O'Reilly's crusade against "The Secularists" and the ACLU, but he's still better than Tucker Carlson.

1. Tucker Carlson Not Partisan, Yup
No Mr. Carlson isn't partisan, and Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel wasn't gangsters, and Heidi Fleiss didn't run an escort service.

:P

2. Carlson has an ability to seem congenial and fair minded while he is
actually talking over the important points people on the left are makeing....We all know people like that in our personal lives...I, personally can't stand them....They are basically manipulative, insincere people who use their personalities to overwhelm less agressive people....

3. Bill O'Reilly even lies about that...

I've never seen him do a show on any environmental issue.

He also screamed daily for the death penalty in any number of cases.

Just another lying liar.

4. right,
he's so very objective and unbiased. ;-)

But I'd disagree that he makes O'Reilly look good by comparison. Sometimes I seriously doubt O'Reilly's sanity. I don't think Carlson is anywhere near the same league as nutty O'Reilly.

5. maybe it's a close call
Bill O'Reilly is on a religous-crusade against "The Secularists."

Tucker Carlson is smug and laughs at people making serious points.

When Tucker Carlson and Al Franken appeared on Tim Russert, the conversation was like:

Franken: Bush has given tax-cuts to the rich.

Carlson: (giggling)

Franken: What's so funny?

Carlson: That's a Democratic talking point. You're partison and I'm not.
--------------------------------------

Carlson never denied that Bush has given tax-cuts to the rich, but is full of giggly smugness.
