I'd like to thank the media! |
|
I've been weighing the candidates for a long time, not really sure which one I want to vote for. Well, I've made a decision, and I have the media to thank for it!
Over the past several months, virtually every piece I've seen or read in the major media about Howard Dean has been negative. Using the same goddamn words, talking about anger, and shrillness and all that crap. Conversely, they give Bush a free ride, and are much less severe with the other Democrats. For whatever reason, it seems like they want Lieberman, but that's neither here nor there.
With Dean consistently claiming the worn out mantra of the outsider candidate, I realized that this media backlash may prove him right. He IS the outsider. How else to explain the hatred spewed toward him by the media? He will change things, he isn't part of the establishment (like the media is) and he threatens to change their way of doing things.
So after months of uncertainty, I'd like to announce my choice for President is Howard Dean, and I'd like to thank the media for hating him so much and thus proving to me that he's the right man for the job.

Dean has indicated that media conglomerates should be broken up and that we need to return to stringent media ownership rules.
Well what on Earth would cause a candidate to say this? He must be angry! That's it!
They intend to keep the focus on Howard, and it will be all negative. The alternative is that the focus could fall on the media itself.
That's why we have the fundraising BAT. The more they growl at him, the more we go batting for him. At the very least, it makes the media look craven and out of touch. The only thing is that they no longer report how Dean has these "strange" fundraising successes in the wake negative stories. LOL!
