Moveon.org - CBS question |
|
Does anyone think that it is odd that GWB can have Tom Brady at the SOTU address and get whatever benefit from a zoom in on a true 'Patriot' and CBS will not allow a polictal add during the SuperBowl...this really strikes me as odd.
PS-What is being done to let CBS know we are sick of their $hit?

as a prop. It failed. Tom looked bored thoughout the entire speech. Our brave soldiers in uniform looked even more bored and disgusted. He was invited. I guess if you are invited by the First Lady, you go. He is a gentleman. Not like Mark Chumra who refused to go to the White House to meet Clinton after Green Bay won the Super Bowl. Chumra was quoted as saying he didn't want to meet "that pervert.' Well, Chumra was convicted (I believe) of getting an under-aged girl drunk and molesting her while at some party. Wonder what his wife thought? Anyway, CBS should concentrate on the Super Bowl. Leave politics out for the game. Show it during Survivor. CBS just had a great 60 Minutes piece on last night. I have no problems with CBS.

I would think Tom Brady would be annoyed at being used as a prop at the SOTU, but maybe doesn't get it? Also, I wonder it the quarterback of Carolina (don't know his name, sorry!) thinks? I don't know exactly why, but this has turned me against the Patriots, guess I'm rooting for the underdogs again. Oh well, next year my Chiefs will be there.....!
