One Bill O'Reilly article in the NYT |
|
Another thread in "Media" discusses O'Reilly's whining assertion that Air America is getting way too much publicity. One of his complaints is that the NYT has never written about "us."
I have no idea who "us" is in the O'Reilly universe (i.e., where p-o-l-k spells "Peabody"), but I do know that the _Times_ has published at least one article about him. It was "MediaTalk; Gaffes on Hispanics, From 2 Well-Known Mouths" and describes how O'Reilly used the term "wetbacks."
Somebody really ought to write a book about the way this man lies.

Indicates that over the last 10 years O'reilly is mentioned in 246 articles. Granted many of them are "bestseller list" mentions, but many more focus on other issues including quite a few articles from 1996 about the launch of FauxNews and O'Lielly's inclusion in the line-up. Very similar coverage to that which AA has received. Bill is a spinning liar.

Last night he said, "my resume is posted on my website and no where on it will you find a mention about a Peabody Award". See here is the spin, No one said its on his resume, he said publicly he won one. Thats what Al Franken has already proved. This man is slobbering, whinnig fool. Oh yeah, and a liar.

He's just annoyed that Franken is giving him hell and pointing out all of his lies on the air, so he's doing what he can to sabotage Air America. What he doesn't realize in all of his stupidity is that he's just giving them more publicity. Remember in Franken's book "Lies and the Lying Liars" he talks about how O'Reilly once wrote a novel called "Those Who Trespass," about a rising TV star who would kill anyone who got in the way of his career. O'Reilly simply can't stand anyone who gets in his way. What a loser.

5. actually I think he's smarter and stupider than that |

Remember the Reverend Donald Wildmon? He would go nutzoid on tv "obscenity" (like _NYPD Blue_) and rail about how it had to go, by God, GO! But his entire career (and bank account) was based on (1) setting up a strawman and (2) ineffectually slamming it and (3) cashing the checks his donors mailed in.
That's O'Reilly, too: choosing his partners and then crying when they dance with him.

6. Oh Really pulled this on NPR |
|
And they also did a fluff piece on him. He kept saying they never had a story on him. Then came the Frash Air incedent. It's amazing the lack of follow up on his pronouncments. I make it a point to read an article he slams and (SURPRISE!) egO'Reilly is usually misrepresenting the case.
