Air America to broadcast on *two* stations in Bay Area, CA
Al Franken reportedly to broadcast on two Bay Area stations

Air America Radio, the liberal talk radio network, featuring Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo, Chuck D. and others, has found two Bay Area outlets, the San Jose Mercury News reported, though no startup date has been announced.

The Mercury News, citing a company press release, said the new radio network would air on two stations that currently offer Asian-language programming -- San Francisco's KVTO-AM 1400 and San Jose's KVVN-AM 1430.

edit ...
Both stations are owned by Inner City Broadcasting Corp., which also owns Air American Radio's New York flagship station, WLIB-AM 1190.

Cool, I'm working in San Jose this month and was worried about feeding my Air America addition.

1. I live in North Dakota
and thus have no reason whatever to ask this question:

will the signal cover Oakland?

Will it make it in to beloved Berkeley?

to answer your question: it will, easily.

and none too soon, i was starting to get very irritated. besides with us SF bay area listeners off the 'net you can have more bandwidth to get on and we won't crash the system as often ;) (silicon valley and liberal US Mecca and all...)

'bout damn time! yay!
