Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. contact info, code of ethics (LOL), etc.
Sinclair is based in Hunt Valley, a suburb of Baltimore.
As far as I know, the Show will be broadcast here in Baltimore (11:35 p.m.) on ABC... 90% registered Dems in their own backyard could be the reason?
Nope! Actually, they only own the local FOX and WB stations; otherwise, I'm sure the show would be blacked out here, as well.

If Nightline is blacked out in your area (see link below), I urge you to contact Sinclair and remind them of the conflict of interest clause in their code of ethics. A true conflict of interest should include decisions based on partisan politics.

5. Sinclair politics
I too sent an e-mail to the dozen+ managment listed. Basically stating that their decision was in fact politically motivated corporate censorhsip, disrespectful to the soldiers, and essentially irresponsible with our airwaves etc.

I also added that their other actions since 9/11 are bad as well... praising Bush after each story, firing local news casts in favor of their own centralized news agenda. Just the millionth example of why media consolidation is bad...

6. Sinclair Broadcasting
I also sent a letter to www.newscentral.tv which is a Sinclair division headquarters. The following is a copy of my letter.
I watched Mr. Hyman's statement last night regarding SBG's decision regarding Nightline, and I believe that it is SBG and Mr. Hyman who have a political agenda, not Ted Koppel or Nightline. The following is a news article regarding Mr. David D Smith, President and CEO of SBG, after reading this I would like you to tell us again about refraining from running the aforementioned program due to moral and ethical principals. Based on your channel's actions I believe you feel you are the appointed ones who should deem what is 'moral' and 'ethical' The following is the news article on the man who made the decision to not run Ted Koppel's show honoring the dead in Iraq , based on his so called "principals".

The president of Baltimore-based Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc., which owns the local Fox television affiliate, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with committing a perverted sex act in a company-owned Mercedes, city police said.

David Deniston Smith, 45, of the 800 block of Hillstead Drive in Timonium, who also is Sinclair's chief executive, was arrested in an undercover sting at Read and St. Paul streets, a downtown corner frequented by prostitutes, Baltimore police said yesterday.

Smith and Mary DiPaulo, 31, were charged with committing unnatural and perverted sex act. Smith was held overnight at the Central Booking and Intake Center and released on personal recognizance at 2 p.m. yesterday. DiPaulo's bail status was not available.

Officials at WBFF-TV (Fox 45) and Sinclair, one of the fastest-growing broadcasting companies in the nation with 28 television and 34 radio stations, would not comment yesterday. The company had $126 million in sales in the first half of this year.

Police said undercover Officer Gary Bowman, on a prostitution detail, was talking to DiPaulo about 9: 15 p.m. in a car at St. Paul and Read streets. She left the undercover car after telling Bowman that ``she had just seen her regular date driving in the area,'' according to court documents.

Police said DiPaulo ran across the street to a 1992 Mercedes, registered to Sinclair, and got in on the passenger side. Police followed the car onto the Jones Falls Expressway, where they said they witnessed the two engage in oral sex while Smith drove north.

Police said they followed the car back to Read and St. Paul streets, where they arrested Smith and DiPaulo, who lives in the 700 block of Washington Blvd.
letter to www.newscentral.tv Mark Hyman
