Did anybody realize the slip that the Anti-Clinton ad may have |
|
unintentionally aired?
I love it when somebody tries to pin all the world's ills on Clinton, and especially tries to tie 9/11 to his "failings".
Unfortunately for this group, they brought up the first WTC bombing.
By their logic, then, the first WTC bombing had to be the fault of George H. W. Bush, right? If the terrorist attack 8.5 months out of office is the fault of the previous administration, then the terrorist attack 1.5 months out of office should be the fault of the previous administration, right?
Oh, wait. Then you have the USS Cole. Oh, that was the fault of Clinton, also, right?
So, if an attack on America happens right before the 2004 election, that's the fault of Bush43, not Kerry, by their own logic.

9. Funny how they didn't mention Oklahoma City |
|
now that was an act of Terrorism by somebody who didn't like our form of government.
Whoops, he probably supported Bush. God knows he wanted to die under Bush's thumb.

3. Did the ad actually air? |
|
I was channel-surfing between commercial breaks, so I might have missed it.

Bill Clinton committed the cardinal Republican sin of being a popular Democrat, despite any and all attempts to paint him as "evil". For that, the hard-slanters will never, ever forgive him. But he's transcended this simple image, at this point, and has become. . . like a security blanket for the patently "right".
Anytime anything, anywhere goes wrong, it must be Bill's fault. It's a learned response. I'd go so far as to say that it's Pavlovian at this point. :P
