How do they reconcile this???? |
|
At Shrub's press conference on Oct. 28th, he stated: "And the world is safer today because Saddam Hussein and the Taliban are gone."
Now, in the latest is that the administration is saying that Saddam is behind all the attacks on Americans and others in Iraq, or is at least supporting those who are making these attacks. Hmmmm.........
And the last I heard, the Taliban was still hanging out in Afghanistan, wreaking havoc with schools and all....
Osama who???

Deciding what to call the attackers. It can't be "Iraqi Freedom Fighters" or "Rebels". That would seem to indicate that the Iraqis don't want us there, bringing their freedom (and taking their oil).
It can't be Pro-Sadam forces. That would mean that Sadam is still calling the shots. Bush announced that he removed Sadam a long time ago.
It can't be terrorists from other countries. That would mean that Rumsfeld's new streamlined war failed to secure the country from foreign troops. It would also seem to suggest that we are suffering defeats in the War on Terror. Furthermore, it would confirm concerns prior to the invasion that the War would only encourage the recruitment of new terrorists.
You would think that the media could clear this up for us. But I guess they might be treated like Daniel Pearl. Maybe Al Jazeera can clear this up.

If you say something from the bully pulpit, some are going to buy it. You are not suprised at this Orwellian double speak, are you?
They can't handle the truth, nor can the supporters of this regime. There is no moral integrity in the Bush Admin... so in a culture where the ends justify the means, the historical record is irrelevant. Its all about spin.
Bunch of pathological liars. war is peace, ignorance is stregnth, freedom is slavery
