I can't get myself to go and sort through their collective drivel but for those who like the sport of it, a link would be appreciated.

3. I've lurked at Lucianne.com a couple
of times and it seems to be the "disgruntled former employee" defense.

6. Don't have a link BUT...
They think O'Neill's doing the sour grapes thing...and ever since the trip with "Bono" to Africa they have had it out for O'Neill anyways (although most of those idiots don't know who "Bono" is)They are still in the bush is God mode (of course) If bush murdered old cross eyed Laura on live feed they would excuse him, so what else is new?

8. *sigh* I'll go look
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1056452/posts

if he had worked for Clinton and done this, the IRS would be crawling all over his financial and tax records by now.

...

You mean they're going to probe why it is he even has those documents?

...

O'Neill has set out to destroy W and his administartion with this gross display of hatred and bitterness. He is to be reviled forever.

...

It does seem there are a number of moles in W's administration wanting to torpedo him every chance they get.

...

I heard on FOX that Suskind was saying that one of the packages of documents O'Neill gave him was makred "secret". If that's true .. O'Neill might end up in a world of hurt.

...

They link to here http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/005628.php

"But what Paul O'Neill and Ron Suskind don't tell you is that the very same set of documents that contain the Iraq map and the list of Iraqi oil projects contain the same maps and similar lists of projects for the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia!"

Which if it's the place I'm thinking of, is absolutely correct. See here: http://www.angelfire.com/ab/trogl/oilwar where you can see them planning for Afghanistan, then Iraq.

Did not mean to put you out but I am glad you looked it up.

My favorite...

"If he'd worked for Xlinton, he would have an unfortunate fatal car accident on his way to the 60 Minutes Taping, or he would have cancelled the 60 Minutes appearance after his pet dog disappeared."

That is part of why I don't go there plus their board is, well, less than user friendly and a bit confusing to us amateurs. :-)

Thanks Again,
B

10. You're a brave one...
to go there. It's such stupidity I can only stay a few moments before going a bit nuts.

I really liked this one: "...if he had worked for Clinton and done this, the IRS would be crawling all over his financial and tax records by now. Hah!!! I guess they forgot a famous comment by another of their "Heros":

"I want to be sure he is a ruthless son of a bitch; that he will do what he's told; that every income-tax return I want to see, I see; that he will go after our enemies and not our friends. Now, it's as simple as that. If he isn't, he doesn't get the job.” (President Richard Nixon, in May 1971 tapes, describing his criteria for a new IRS commissioner, as quoted in Newsweek.)

12. no big deal
A lot on the right wanted his head when he said the tax cuts were too big. He was not a favorite then and less so now. General consensus, his mouth got him fired before, and his mouth will be his downfall now. Not a real concern because he was not a team player to start with.
