GW Bush is a Bigot
He made this clear in the SOTU address last night.

The funniest thing is is that after his typical pandering to the zealot-us religious right, his hypocrisy was even greater, following by exalting the rights that the Constitution gives to ALL American citizens.

Let me rephrase it, "GW here to all you gay people. I want to deny you the right to 'Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness', becuase we think it's immoral, but on the other hand the Constitution gives you the right to 'Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness'; will ya vote for me now cause I believe in freedom and your rights."

If I was a gay republican, I'd seriously be rethinking my support for the Republican Party.

As an American citizen I'd be asking this question, "How can a man whom ex-halts freedom and self-determination internationally and the overall greatness of 'The American Democratic Republic'; So freely stomp on and crush the rights of a 'Group' of adult American Citizens and their thirst for 'Life,Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."

It's a dualism that can never be solved when the Constitution and the Bill of Rights of the United States of America is involved.

Republic or Theocracy? Which one would GW prefer?

George W. Bush is a Bigot, because he wants to deny rights to a group of adult American Citizens, which are protected by the Constitution; the basis and foundation of this country.

1. I'm not passionate about it either way, but...
Which article of the constitution guarantees people the right to get married?

4. If everbody (all men) are created equal...
...then why are gay and lesbians unequal?

I can't point to a specific article, but denying rights to certain groups of American citizens goes against the basis of the constitution.

5. "All men are created equal" is not in the constitution
It's in the Declaration of Independence

8. I understand where you're coming from
But there are plenty of privileges in the U.S. that are not rights. Married couples enjoy many privileges that sinlges or "committed couples", homo or hetero, can't.

7. 14th Amendment has been used to say that
separate but equal is not constitutional. By offering Riggs to straights to get married and not offering those rights to queers, the govt is setting a 14th Amendment violation.
