Safety Net:Fed Budget guys, how much can dems grab from RW projects?

How much can we gain for safety net projects, when we are able to cut out disgusting RW projects?

I just heard of an ongoing project that spends millions to restore an old, old fort on an island south of FLA, in that long island chain, 200 {?} miles from the mainland, so remote that the restoration crew must bring all supplies they will need for weeks at a time, and awful weather and mosquitoes. While we have seven thousand dying per month from homelessness.

TV is full of such stories of waste. Space Station is another. ANyone gone thru the budget to add up all we can gain with

NO NEW TAXES, just axing these bondoogles?

I favor new taxes , but need this source too.

1. Because of Republican fiscal mismanagement and malfeasence,

we will be forced to "restructure" the military budget. Oddly enough, reducing that expense will make the world safer....go figure.

By the way, the NSF is one of the best run agencies.

In general, compared to the mandatory spending and the DOD
budget everything else is peanuts.

did you check out the lack of accounting in Iraq with the DOD-todays papers-how about billion dollar NO BID contracts to the firm that the VP was the head of-how can that not smell of corruption and waste-troops had to pay for own body armor and we had this going on?
Whitewater we spent years investigating but the VP gets a free ride on this?-disgusting
