Greenspan - Don't worry be happy, ignore that approaching storm
I'm sorry, we have record bankruptcies, steep declines in gross incomes...this guy has got to go.

=================================================

U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said on Tuesday that he did not foresee big price distortions developing in home prices and said Americans were handling their debts well.

1. He is shilling for Bush's reelection with his rosy scenario...
Sir Alan is the biggest of all bullshitters but he has stepped off the cliff with his latest propaganda.

"Don't worry, be happy," is his current advice. Ha! This coming from the man who recommends that American seniors should sacrifice most of their Social Security coverage in order to protect the Bush capital gains/dividend tax cuts that only benefit the top 10% of wage earners (including himself). Before agreeing to his proposal, why don't we keep full social security coverage by raising the ceiling on the social security income tax---let's say up to $1 million? Sir Alan (and the rest of his wealthy cronies) would be horrified by this obvious and sensible solution. The rest of us would like it though.
