Sharp's Dual View Liquid Crystal Display Monitor
A model shows off the reflected second display image of Sharp's Dual View Liquid Crystal Display Monitor during the company's new LCD technology press preview at a Tokyo hotel yesterday. Sharp unveiled its Dual View and Veil View LCD technologies which are expected to hit the market beginning next month.

Other than show two images at once, but how can that be helpful? You have to have a mirror?

or is it so that anyone looking at your monitor from the side sees something entirely different from what you're actually doing?

3. The technology means that...
...anyone using an optical recording device or "radiation reader" technology (that reads a monitor from afar) will see a false image, other than that which is actually being viewed.
