ing inc - anyone use this? |

is there a referral reward for either the referer or the new account person? Do you like them? What kinds of accounts do you have with them? Are there better places for accounts without minimums?

When I joined, I the referrer got a fee and I did too.
I like them okay. The only gripe I have is adding my wife to make it a joint account. I didn't do it at the beginning and I had to call support about it. The way to do it is not very straight forward and I still haven't done it. I have heard that they(and some other internet banks) will drop you if you have too many calls to support. On the other hand, it is easy to set up automatic transfers to my local bank to my ING savings account and easy to transfer it back.
All I have is savings.
If I was just starting out, I would look and Emigrant bank - they seem to pay about .25% more than ING.
