M$M: fast food prices to go down. So why am I seeing prices go up?
Today, my local burger king raised it´s "value" meal prices by 20 cents. I guess it´s to offset the lowering of the price on their woppers. Wonder how much a bu$h-like-MBAer will get paid for this crooked scheme. Good-bye Burger King!

Fast-food chains downsize their prices
From McDonald's to KFC, restaurants are introducing and advertising their value menus

USA Today
Cheap eats are back.

Burger King plans to introduce the value menu in all locations well before the end of the first quarter, spokeswoman Edna Johnson says. Among the items tested: a $1 Whopper Jr.

1. Why are you frequenting these places? The stuff will kill you.
It's not food. And everything about the industry runs (from how the animals are raised/slaughtered to the treatment of employees/supplies) is counter to progressive thought.

And did I mention the food will kill you?

3. Just sounds like more places are going to have value menus
Not that there's going to be a wholesale decline in fast food prices.

4. "value menus" LOL
How about- obesity, diabetic and osteoporosis menus.

I think we need to slap a large sin tax on the large fast food corporations. Create a disincentive for people to eat their garbage and recoup some of the massive externalized costs that have made healthcare all but unaffordable for their clientelle.
