FDIC failed banks - what happened to the list?

I have been occasionally checking the FDIC site for failed banks since they had given notice that they expected a large number of failures. In early March Hume Bank (which I think is Missouri...) failed and was on that list for a couple of weeks. Now I look and they are gone. If you google it there are articles about the bank failing but they are no longer listed with FDIC as a failed bank. Did they unfail? Or can we trust the FDIC to be honest to list the failures?

2. Last I heard they are hiring more auditors

Just like in “George Bush’s Flourishing Economy” bank failures are all the rage and FDIC is gearing up to throw tax payer’s hard earned dollars at yet another round of inept CEO’s follies.

Did we pay off the last round of S&L failures yet?

Oh ya - God forbid we give federal loans to them irresponsible home owners

4. But Hume bank is no longer listed at the FDIC failed bank list

3/11/08 The Missouri Division of Finance was in Hume Friday to close the Hume Bank.

D. Eric McClure, Commissioner of Finance for the State of Missouri, took possession of Hume Bank, Hume, Mo., effective at the close of business Friday. It is the second bank failure in the nation in 2008; the first was the Douglass National Bank, with three branches in Kansas City -- two in Kansas and one in Missouri which failed in January. Branches of Douglass National Bank reopened as part of a Louisiana bank, according to the Kansas City Star.
