An Important Part of a Solution to World Economic Problems?
If many people outside America have deep, spiritual thoughts, but live in grinding poverty and many people in America are materialistic and superficial, then why don't more people outside America devote time to creating educational materials that would teach deep, spiritual frameworks to Americans? Selling such educational materials to Americans would generate income to provide some relief from poverty.

1. People are already doing that
but it's twaddle like "The Secret." Americans all prefer a superficial spirituality that promises to make them rich, successful, beautiful.

As for the poverty in the rest of the world, check out peer to peer microloans. That's what I'm doing these days, changing the world one poor person at a time.

2. I actually heard a radio advertisement offering micro loans here in NM
the other day.

I was floored! I'm so glad it's available here in the States too, for some reason I thought it was a 3rd world thing.

Bless you for sharing the wealth :pals:

3. It's what the Small Business Administration was supposed to be
but that outfit has become so corrupt in most areas that small businesses are being shut out by politically connected large businesses that dodge the requirements by making most of their employees "contractors."

Their entire budged on Cape Cod used to go to one real estate developer, year after year. He was a fatcat GOP who tithed what he got to the party and candidates.

4.  from a strictly economic viewpoint
Our balance of trades is already terrible. Much better for our movie factories to export blood and gore to the third world--that will help create better economic balance.

Not to mention the language barrier in creating educational materials....................

Having said that, I am into the whole shaman/guru thing. Well, not the guru, but the shaman.

5. You can lead a horse to water, you cannot make him drink.
Youe can tell people that "the debt free lifestyle" is part of "the good life", but you can´t make them cut up their credit cards.
