Original iPhone owners: Beware upgrading to the newest software! It is bricking the iPhone
I attempted an "update" to the new version 2.0 of iPhone firmware and now my phone is useless.

It is stuck in an error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request" and will not complete the update/sync process. I can't use the phone *at all*.

Looks like Apple is overwhelmed with demand today for the new firmware and its systems are crapping out.

4. It's actually a nice device...if you care about convergence of phone, music, PDA, SMS, etc.
Now they have opened it up to 3rd party developers, so it is really gonna get better, application wise.

Apple/AT&T have got to get their infrastructure/logistics/support act together.

5. I guess I should mention I don't even own a standard cellphone
It sucks being on call 24/7.

So, no I don't care about convergence. When I'm outside I like to people watch and enjoy the weather, not surf the net and talk to my boss.
