This is a shameless promotion of The Economic Populist, a community blog about all things economic.

New posts include the budget deficit, one showing how women are getting laid off equally to men and women in Science, Technology jobs are dropping out to the rate of 52%, a series blogger writing about manufacturing in the US (Toyota and VW just announced new plans), another one questioning if China is tanking because their stock markets are way down and inflation way up and multiple posts on financials, the housing market, Fannie/Freddie and the bail out.

The middle column also links up to some exceptional blogs. Did you know the Congressional Budget office is a blogging fool now?

If you are focused on "all things economic" EP is just that.

I think the thing few realize is it's a community blog plus a forum. So it has the features of dailykos and DU combined. While I think we have some awesome bloggers posting I notice a lot of people are just reading the post versus using it to discuss, debate. The forum especially doesn't get used and it's like DU, for short news, discussion threads.

Glad you're reading it and glad people like it. As far as I know there is no site that is a community blog and forum based solely on all things $$$$.
