2. In fact, many are applauding this economy. It gives them
a "reason" to lay off employees (even when not warranted) and make the remaining ones work more hours at less pay. There are many examples of this occurrence.

3. When we get involved in a problem we want to help.
We are being taken advantage of. The power brokers are sitting back and laughing at our hopeless gestures. They don't drive on our roads, shop at our stores or share our problems. They could care less. They are just waitng for 25 cents an hour labor so they can have all the money.

5. The owners managers who have been paying themselves
huge salaries, bonuses and making sweetheart loans to family and friends have made all th money they can ever use by the time the bank goes under. Now there may be some small banks that have honest moral officers who took reasonable salaries and no bonuses that may may suffer if their bank goes under.

6. Merril Lynch failed... and they got bonuses
so I think you can safely say that the execs profited very well from driving their company, and our economy, into the ground.
