"To rob a country, own a bank"
Disgustingly true.

Here, on one page, is the interview with Bill Black, the man who exposed the Savings and Loan fraud back in the 80's.
He clearly lays out why we are in the mess and how proposals to clean it up are making it worse.

One interview, divided into 5 short clips. Eye opening.

1. Bill Black has been speaking about this for some time...
the thing that I noticed is that even though he had experience cleaning up the S&L mess in the 80's no one from the Obama admin or Treasury has contacted him to join their team to clean up the present mess. Things that make you go hmmmmmm.

His explanations are very good and very easy to understand. He was the first who explained CDO's and synthetic derivatives so that I could understand them and once you understand; you see the problems.

3. The information helped me understand why depending on the Gov
to find a solution is crazy thinking.

There is a stage of codependency, when one is involved with addicts, batterers and other
sociopathic types, where the victim spends way too much energy trying to figure out how to get the aggressor to stop the behavior.

I think a lot of us are in that stage, wishing and hoping that "soon" our government will see the light and stop the illicit criminal behavior, so that everything will go back to the way it was,
go back to "normal".

Hell, I think a lot of folks do not realize yet how much they are victims.
Nothing will change until enough people get out of denial and start making their own changes, stop being victims.

2. Yep, sad but true
I consider them a criminal enterprise, identical to the mafia.
