98 tons of plants per gallon
I was looking for information on how much energy is required to produce a gallon of gas. We don't just burn a gallon of gas when we burn a gallon of gas. It takes energy to drill, pump it out of the ground, refine it, ship it...

But I ran in to something unexpectedly. The actual amount of material required in order to create what eventually becomes a gallon of gas. I think it puts our addiction in perspective.

4. If they want to really test their faith
They could do one of two things to show their total reliance on God.

1) Have themselves crucified on a cross like Jesus.

2) Take a loaded revolver and shoot themselves.
