Greenpeace warns of 200 mln global warming refugees by 2040

BERLIN (AFP) - Global warming could create some 200 million
climate refugees by 2040 and the bulk of the affected will be
people living in poor countries, Greenpeace warned on
Wednesday.

The environmental group said the forecast was based on a
study by German academic Cord Jakobeit from Hamburg
University.

It found that those most likely to be driven from their homes by
weather disasters linked to global warming would be inhabitants
of the world's poorest areas.

"In the meanwhile, the industrialised nations that have caused
global warming deny the existence of climate refugees and use
their refugee laws to avoid having to deal with them," Boehling
added.

Greenpeace says that half of the world's energy will be renewable by 10 years later.

Thus those who suffer from the half that Greenpeace doesn't care about can go half way to their new destinations half of the time in refugee half measures by 2050. For the intervening half of the refugees ten years they can just wait in the waiting room.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of organization Greenpeace is. Is it an organization of pyschics I wonder.
