EPA Gives Awards to Ethanol Plants

"Two ethanol plants in the Midwest won awards from the Environmental Protection Agency for reducing their energy consumption Wednesday. The companies installed a system, known as combined heat and power, that makes use of heat that would otherwise be wasted."

there`s a conversion of a uncompleted natural gas peaker plant into a ethanol plant 10 miles from here. it`s going to be one if not the largest in illinois.
